But when it comes down to it, she’s simply just another superficial studio-produced pop star, capitalizing on being “weird” because Madonna got too wrinkly. For those of you claiming that this 3rd-generation diva-synth-pop is “daring”, “experimental”, or “groundbreaking”, you need to realize that everything she’s done has been done not only just once, but many many more times. So we’re sorry to the world for unleashing this shallow and mundane dance muzak onto you, but this is what you get for plaguing us with Eiffel 65!
Do you not think it trite to call her unoriginal? How are you not fumbling over the ironic content of your ludicrous spiel? You liken her to Madonna because Madge is the only bankable pop star who yet again ripped off other performers. But if you spent some time flying under the radar and absorbed yourself in more dare I say ‘obscure’ and albeit less successfulperformance artists that span the previous 3 decades you would see that she is sampling much more than the likes of Madonna and David Bowie but also channelling artists like Klaus Nomi and The Club Kids. She isn’t weird in the slightest, she is a remarkable and tactical artist. It’s called passion. Your views my friend are just deeply veneered by the mogul machine of the media. You are conforming to non-conformity. Don’t make such brash statements to go against the grain purely to do so. Tell me one thing that isn’t likable about her purely as an entertainer without delving into that “oh she is just so unoriginal, like seriously” crap. Because mate, if you wanna bust out the semantics and dynamics of individuality then really if you give thought to it, everything comes from somewhere else. Originality does not exist. Lady Gaga is the saviour of this decade’s pop music industry, and she will usher it into the next because she is talented and driven. The end.
